Barbara is the Head of Safeguarding and Corporate Parenting
She currently Chairs the Council of Management and has served on the Council since 1991. Her background is in Social Services and she has recently served with the Social Services Inspectorate as a regional development worker for Quality Protects - a government initiative to raise standards in Children’s services.
She has a special interest in children with disabilities.
Janette Welch
Janette runs an outdoor activities centre for schools in North Wales and is currently Vice-Chair of the Hope House Trustees.
Her background is in Primary school education, where she specialised in children with learning difficulties.
TopPhil Inch
Phil is Treasurer of Hope House and brings wide financial experience to the Board. He is Finance Director of Kronospan, a large local employer in Chirk.
TopMike Mortimer
Mike is from a sales and project management background and chaired the Council during the construction phase of Hope House.
He also chaired the project committee which designed and built Ty Gobaith, the hospice in Conwy which opened in 2004.
TopPeter Aston
Peter is a retired GP with extensive experience of children with special needs. He is also active in the Sail Training Association.
TopGraham Morris
Graham is a former Chief Executive of Rolls Royce and Bentley Motor Cars Ltd. and currently holds a number of non-executive board positions.
He also plays a role in four other charities with diverse interests.
TopPhilip Minchom MB, ChB, FRCP, FRCPCH
Philip is a paediatrician practicing at the Maelor Hospital, Wrexham.
TopStephen Rogers
Stephen is a solicitor who specialised in children and families' work while in practice.
Since 1995 he has been been a District Judge and currently sits at Telford and Oswestry County Courts.

Dafydd Wigley
Dafydd was MP for Caernarfon (1974 - 2001) and a Welsh National Assembly Member (1999 - 2003).
He is joint President of Mencap-Wales, and Vice President of Disability Wales. He was, for 14 years, vice-chair of the All-Party Disablement Group in Parliament, and was a member of Mencap UK's Panel on Profound Disability.
He and Elinor lost two boys through an MPS condition.
TopGwyn Bartley
Gwyn is a solicitor recently retired from private practice in North Wales. He has served on the North Wales Police Authority and was Chairman of the North Wales CBI 1999-2001.
TopMeinir Wigley
Meinir is Head of External Relations and Funding for the Countryside Council for Wales. Previously she worked with the RSPB as their Public Affairs Manager for Wales. She continues her studies to complete an MBA.
TopPrabhjit Kaur Chana
Prabhjit works as Manager for Wales in the Strategy and UK Networks Directorate with Skills for Health (Sector Skills Council representing health in public, independent and voluntary sectors). She has several years experience in the medical field as manager in primary, secondary care and in education, other public organisations and the private sector. She is also an IT professional and will shortly complete her MBA.
