Nightrider London...

Embark on an exciting 100km moonlit ride through London and raise money for Hope House Children's Hospices!

Starting at Crystal Palace in South East London at about 11pm we will set off on this 100km circular ride. Please note depending on numbers a second start point may be added in North London. The route will be fully sign-posted so you can cycle at your own pace. Along the way we will take in some of London's most famous streets and landmarks. The ride will finish at Crystal Palace in time for some well earned breakfast.

Who are Different Travel?

As their name suggests, they are a travel company with a difference! As well as the traditional charity fundraising challenge, such as a trek or a long-distance cycle ride, they offer the opportunity to assist on development projects alongside local people in host countries worldwide so you can raise funds for your charity and help overseas communities at the same time!

The Trek to Machu Picchu

2nd - 11th June 2012 or 20th - 29th October 2012

Spend two days assisting on a project near Cusco before setting off on the 4-day Salkantay Trail to Machu Picchu. This trail is considered one of the best Inca treks in Peru.

The Sahara Desert Trek

14th - 19th April 2012 or 6th - 13th October 2012

Experience the immense Sahara desert on this 3-day trek and learn about the lives of the Berber people. After your trek help out at a hospice near Marrakech by helping to refurbish, paint, garden and more! 

The Kilimanjaro Challenge

19th - 30th May 2012 or 13th - 24th October 2012

Trek the highest freestanding mountain on earth on this African challenge! Spend two days helping at a community project before taking the Marangu route to the famous summit!

Global Adventures Challenges...

The Children's Hospice Trekking Challenge is back for it's 4th year! Get your trekking boots ready...this year we are off to conquer 3 of Spain's highest peaks in one long weekend! Located in the stunning Sierra Nevada National Park, our Spanish 3 peak challenge will consist of summating Alcazaba at 3,371m, Veleta at 3,394m, and finally Spain's highest - Mulhacen at 3,482m.

The mountain range is the second highest in Euprope after the Alps and includes 15 peaks higher than 3,000m. Crossing the Sierra Nevada is going to be a tough challenge, but the views across Spain's mainland from its highest peaks will be more than rewarding.

This event is so special - it unites the vital services that life-limited children receive throughout our nation and it's the only one of it's kind...come and be part of something amazing! Trek the Tres Picos and support your local children's hospice - Hope House.

Day 1: Depart the UK for flight to Malaga. Transfer to Lanjaron.

Day 2: Transfer to Hoya de la Mora. Trek and summit first peak (Veleta 3,394m). Overnight stay at mountain refuge. 16km trek taking 8 hours approx.

Day 3: Trek and summit second peak (Mulhacen 3,482m). Return to refuge for overnight stay. 11km trek 7 hours approx.

Day 4: Trek and summit third peak (Alcazaba 3,371m). 21km terk taking approx. 10 hours. Tranfer to Lanjaron for celebrations!

Day 5: Return flight to the UK.
