The children and families at Ty Gobaith received a very special visitor in the lead up to Christmas 2010. Gio Compario, the voice and face of the “Go Compare” adverts (pictured) called in en route to performing at the 1000 Christmas Voices concert in Llangollen. Gio (Wynne Evans) spent a few hours in the play room creating pieces of art with the children along with time in the lounge talking and having fun with the children and siblings. Speaking of his visit he said: “It was a wonderful, amazing place and the children and staff I’ve met are an inspiration.” His visit will remain in our memory for a very long time.
