Monday 26 July 2010Eco Ready Mix Concrete based in, Ruabon have announced that they are supporting local charity Hope House Children’s Hospice and Ronald McDonald Homes during the coming 12 months.
At a time when the recession is forcing many businesses to close, Gary Billington, Managing Director of Eco-Readymix, is donating 100% of his company’s annual profits (April 2010 - April 2011) to two of the region’s most deserving children’s charities, Hope House and Ronald McDonald House, through his People B4 Profit campaign. His eco friendly company provide cement to the regions biggest house developers and builders and they will all be attending a launch of the appeal to hear more about the PeopleB4Profit campaign on 29th April.
Gary Billington says: “As a company we have always been committed to preserving the world we live in, putting environmental issues above all in every aspect of business. Extending the philosophy of ‘caring for what’s precious’ we are now pledging support to 2 children’s charities with our PeopleB4Profit campaign”.
Diane Aplin, Area Fundraiser for Hope House said: “We are delighted that Gary and the team at Eco Ready mix have chosen to support Hope House and Ronald McDonald House during the coming year. Their very generous pledge will really help both charities raise the vital funds needed to maintain the Hospice and the House in this region. It's perfect timing to be involved with Eco-Readymix as Hope House are launching their appeal to build a new counselling centre next door to the Hospice which will provide appropriate and dedicated space for our existing team. Hopefully the donation from Eco-Readymix will help with the building of the Counselling Centre.”
