Here at Hope House Children's Hospices we never fail to feel humbled at the lengths people will go to to help our children and Peter Hazle is no exception!

 

Peter has taken on the mammoth task of walking John O'Groats to Lands End raising vital funds for Hope House and has promised to send us letters and photos throught his epic journey.  The first of which is below.

Dear Rachel,

 

All is going well so far with the walk. I have completed 190 miles and am 20 miles from Fort William. The weather was not good for the first nine days from John O’Groats, strong winds and rain with very little sunshine, but with great support from my cousin Derek and his wife we have managed to keep on schedule. I have already collected sponsorship from several walkers and caravan site holiday makers. I have enclosed two photos of the first day start at John O’Groats for the papers. I will send more photos later in the walk.
