Shake off the winter blues and step into spring
Tuesday 24 January 2012On Sunday 4th March we are holding our 10 mile sponsored walk along Llangollen Canal. The route starts at the Aqueduct in Trevor and continues along the canal to Chirk Bank and back again.
This event is the perfect way to shake off the winter blues and step into spring. It is completely free to register but each participant is asked to raise what they can for Hope House Children’s Hospices. Anyone under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult and unfortunately the path is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
There are some challenges along the route with two aqueducts and also two long tunnels making torches essential. The walk captures the breathtaking scenery of the Dee Valley and surrounding area making this a truly lovely day out.
