This year’s Harry’s Treasure Hunt and Duck Race is organised with the help of Hope House and will take place at Nant Mill Country Park, Coedpoeth, Wrexham on the 20th August. The eighth annual charity event in memory of Harry Jones promises a fun afternoon designed to engage children in a treasure hunt and walk through different challenges around the park with by a duck race at only a £1 per entry.
Harry was a little boy from Wrexham, who passed away in his sleep in 2005 when he was only four years old. After receiving counseling for their tragic loss, Harry’s parents have organised numerous events helping Hope House raise over £40 000.
Harry’s mum, Julia Jones, shared: “Hope House has supported us as a family and this is our way of saying thank you, as well as remembering our precious son."
People are encouraged to bring snacks and enjoy a picnic on the day.
All the proceeds from the event will be split between Alder Hey Children’s Kidney Fund and Harry’s Tribute Fund at Hope House.
