The SYTri ‘Darwin’s Challenge’ Aquathlon is a great event for beginners and experience athletes looking for a PB. The event will be held at Shrewsbury School Swimming Pool and consists of a swim and a run.
The Swim will take place in the 25m flat form pool at Shrewsbury School with adults swimming 400m (16 lengths). The run will be a 5km undulating course mainly on pavement and off road around Shrewsbury; there is one steep hill towards the end of the run route before re-entering the school grounds.
Entrants will need to take along to the event swimming costume, trunks or tri suit, goggles, swimming hat, running shoes, t-shirt suitable to pin number to, towel and race belt or safety pins for race number.
Join the Hope House team and you will receive a free running vest, support up to the day and the knowledge that you have helped provide vital support to very special local children and families.
Entry fee: £15 per entry plus minimum £100 sponsorship.
