Our experience shows that children get real sense of achievement helping other children less fortunate than themselves.
Each year our Fundraisers visit dozens of nurseries, schools and colleges across the region where they provide inspirational talks and assemblies for children and young people of all ages focussing on the work carried out at Tŷ Gobaith and Hope House.

Proven ideas include:
- Raise the Roof Competition. We will supply a blank cardboard house-shaped box for each pupil to colour and take home to fill with pennies. The winning designs from each school age group go through to our final judging every May Half Team. Download Raise the Roof pack here.
- Take the Biscuit. We will bring you house-shaped cookie cutters so you can have fun baking your own cookies and selling them to parents, staff and pupils. Download Take the Biscuit pack here.
- Be a Superhero. Like a dress down day but more fun! Dress as a Superhero and donate a pound for the privilege. We have some fantastic posters we can send you to promote the date! Download a sample poster here.
- Hold a Table Top Sale. Ask your friends and families to donate unwanted presents, old clothes and bric a brac and sell them in the School Hall for Hope House. Everyone loves recycled bargains! Download a registration form.
- Stage a Talent Show or Competition. Showcase the undiscovered talent of staff and pupils in your school and sell tickets to your audience. You could even vote for a winner! Download a registration form.

Whatever you choose to do you can be assured that the Hope House Fundraising Team will be happy to support you by supplying balloons, banners, posters, sponsor forms and/or tickets. We can even help you publicise your project in the local press!
