Donating Goods

We always need donations to keep our shops going. The better quality the donation, the more money we can raise to help our children. Clean, good-quality donations are very welcome. Listed below is the range of products we will gladly take.

  • Books
  • Clothes for men, women and children - especially retro, vintage, bridal and evening wear
  • Shoes and handbags
  • Accessories including ties, belts and jewellery
  • Bric-a-brac and collectables
  • Foreign coins, stamps, old mobile phones and toner cartridges
  • Bedding, curtains etc
  • CDs, DVDs and vinyl LPs
  • Children's toys, games and baby equipment
  • Furniture and household items

Due to trading standards legislation, there are some items we are unable to accept. If you are unsure, please contact your nearest shop.

With our shops becoming so popular and our customer base growing, we constantly need great stock to keep up with demand. We ask that donations be in good condition, clean and unbroken as unsellable goods cost us to dispose of.

If you are having difficulty getting to your nearest shop or if you have a bulky item to donate, we may be able to arrange a collection for you. Please note that all upholstered furniture must have a fire label attached for safety reasons.

The Daisy Card

A Daisy Card is a simple way to increase the value of your donated goods by 25%!

If you are a tax payer then by using our Daisy Card, every bag of goods you donate will allow us to claim an additional 25% back from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) in gift aid. For example, if we sell a coat you donate for £10,we actually get £12.50!

Last year, if all of our donors had signed up to a Daisy Card, we could have claimed an extra £350,000 in Gift Aid. You can see why your help is so important to us!

It's easy to sign up to our Daisy Card Scheme:-

  • Collect a form from your nearest shop or down it from the Downloads section of this site
  • Once you receive your Daisy Card, bring it with you every time you drop off stock and show it to a member of staff or volunteer

It's that simple!
