A brave group from across the UK have been brought together by a husband and wife team to strap themselves to the top of a plane and wing walk to support us.

The daring group of 11 professionals, ranging from teachers to GPs and accountants to car dealers, have been assembled by husband and wife Anthony and Vanessa Watts from Knighton.

“We have been supporting Hope House for a long time and have been thinking about how we can do more,” said Anthony.

“Wing Walking is pretty extreme, but we have assembled this amazing group of people who are willing to jump onto the wings of a plane to raise money and support seriously ill children and their families.”

The group will head down to Cirencester on 28^th July where they will be flown 600ft into the air atop of a 1940’s Boeing Stearman, reaching speeds of up to 140mph as they dip, weave and fly through the air.

“All of those taking part are collecting individually for the charity,” said Anthony. “Please sponsor us and help raise as much money as we can for this amazing charity.”

“We need to raise £7.5 million a year to care for seriously ill local children and families, and without supporters like the Watts family, we simply wouldn’t be able to be there for those that need us the most.”
