The Great North Run is the UK's biggest half marathon on 11th September, with 57,000 runners pounding the streets of Newcastle.

Taking part in this 13.1-mile run, you will start running over the iconic Tyne Bridge and finish along the seafront in South Shields. Shown live on the BBC, the Great North Run creates an incredible atmosphere and a very memorable day for all involved. 

What you need to know

  • Registration is at a reduced cost of £25 with a minimum sponsorship of £375 to be raised which will support us to care for local children and families.
  • You will receive a bespoke Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith running vest to wear with pride on the day.
  • The minimum age on race day is 17.
  • All finishers will receive a Great North Run T-shirt and finishers medal.
