Telford's popular Dark Run 5k is back for a sixth year! This 5k family fun run (with the option to finish after 2.5k) is open to all ages and abilities. The idea is to have fun with friends and family while lighting up the park for the children and families of Hope House!

Dark Run 5k takes place in Telford Town Park, starting and finishing at the Visitor Centre after sunset. Runners are encouraged to come dressed up, covered in glow sticks and face paint to join in the fun. You will be given a glow stick to run with and even a special glow in the dark medal when you cross the finish line.

All participants are asked to raise minimum of £10 in sponsorship for Hope House to help us continue our work supporting seriously ill local children and their families.

Places are limited and sold out two months before the run last year, so be sure to book quickly to secure your place!

All participants must bring a torch or head torch. Little runners/walkers are very welcome but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs cannot join in as there is a risk of tripping over them in the dark. The route will be marked with glow sticks and marshalled at all junctions.

Adults £13, children (15 and under) £7. *Eventbrite processing fees will be applied at checkout.

This year we are also launching Chirk Castle Dark Run 4K for the very first time on Saturday 19th October! You can view all the details for Chirk here:

Book for both runs now using the "TELFORD AND CHIRK EARLYBIRD" ticket option and receive a special earlybird discount while tickets last.
