An Enterprise Challenge for Sixth Form where pupils create a business plan for a pop up shop selling a product/service to raise funds for Hope House. Pitching to our panel of investors, successful groups will receive a £50 investment to kick-start their fundraising idea (maximum of 8 groups per school/college).
Following an initial assembly from your local fundraiser, groups will be left to come up with a business plan before our Panel of Investors, made up of local business representatives, come to listen to them pitch on their ideas. The top groups will then be awarded £50 to kick start their business to raise funds for Hope House.
Resources are available for teachers including on presenting, marketing, income/expenditure, planning and performing a skills audit.
For Welsh High Schools this fundraiser can be used as part of the Key Stage 5 Enterprise and Employability Challenge and a full brief is available on the WJEC website.
