Velocity Zip Wire

*Please note: The Zip Wire experience is weather dependent and strong winds have been forecast for the event Sunday 18th September. In the unlikely event we need to postpone we will contact all participants directly and have a reserve date of Sunday 16th October should cancellation be necessary.*

It’s the longest and the fastest and it’s BACK....

You can take part in the Velocity Zip Wire, at Zip World in Snowdonia it is the longest zip line in Europe and the fastest in the world. By taking part in our dedicated fundraising day you only have to pay £25, giving you an amazing saving of £35 against the normal cost.  Of course this is a fundraising event, so in order to continue supporting the children and families that use our services we would like you to raise £100 in sponsorship.

This adrenalin fuelled attraction will offer you a totally unique experience. Speeds in excess of 100mph can be reached.

Velocity has two pairs of zip lines.  The experience starts with the ‘Little Zipper’.  This is a great introduction and confidence builder with a maximum speed of around 45mph.  The journey takes riders into the heart of the historic quarry where the off road journey to the Big Zipper commences.

The whole experience lasts 2 fun filled hours.

To take part in this exciting event you must be between the height of 4ft and 7ft, be over 10 years of age and weigh no more than 19stone. Please refer to the acknowledgement of risk from Zip World at the end.

Check out this exciting video of Velocity at Zip World and further information of the Zip Wire can be found at

If you would like to take part with other team members please let us know so we can group you together, once we have received your registration details we will allocate you with your timeslot and you will receive a sponsor pack from us including details from Zip World.  If you have any queries please call the fundraising office on 01492 596 581.
