Darwin\'s Challenge Aquathlon

The SYTri "Darwin's Challenge" Aquathlon is a great event for both beginners and experienced athletes looking for a PB.

The event will be held at Shrewsbury School swimming pool and consists of a swim and a run. The swim will take place in the 25m flat form pool at Shrewsbury School with adults swimming 400m (16 lengths). The run will be a 5km undulating course mainly on pavement and off road around Shrewsbury. There is one steep hill towards the end of the run route before re-entering the school grounds.

Entrants will need to take along to the event a swimming costume, trunks or a tri suit, goggles, swimming hat, running shoes, a t-shirt suitable to pin a number to, a towel and a race belt or safety pins for race number.

Join the Hope House team and you will receive a free running vest, support up to the day and the knowledge that you have helped provide vital support to seriously ill local children and families.

*Please note: by signing up to this event you are agreeing to raise £100 minimum sponsorship for Hope House and that you will be taking part in this event at your own risk, and the promoters or any person involved in the organisation of the event will not be responsible for any illness or injury caused by your participation. You also grant Hope House the right to use photographs/videos taken of you during the event, i.e. on the Hope House website/Facebook page.
