Hope House has opportunities for volunteers to help staff in the delivery of support, within the hospice and in the community, to the brothers and sisters of the children who use the hospice services. The role will predominantly be working in groups.
You will be involved in activities such as pre-planning and preparation for group sessions, helping to deliver group sessions held at the hospice or suitable community centre, working on specific projects and assisting with day trips, undertaking a variety of outdoor activities.
You will be asked to attend on an ad-hoc basis with a higher time requirement likely during school holidays however, if you are right for the role, we can be flexible to fit in with the time you have available. We will undertake an enhanced DBS check (paid for by Hope House) and request references before you begin, to comply with CQC requirements.
