Job Overview

We are seeking a Head of Digital Delivery who wants to use their expertise and integrity to ensure we can reach every child and family that needs us.

As Head of Digital Delivery you will drive an ICT strategy and digital agenda, enabling our evolution as an information led organisation and supporting colleagues in the delivery of service and income generation priorities. You will deliver conventional and creative solutions and ensure that culture, process and information are equal in importance to the technology.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, as Head of Digital Delivery you will:

  • Inspire and develop an information led organisation through an ICT strategy aligned with the organisation’s vision and objectives;
  • Lead the organisation’s Digital Transformation Programme, implementing and developing projects, databases and systems to support key organisational processes;
  • Enable a digitally confident and capable workforce, with the skills and resources to incorporate technology and information in the successful fulfilment of their roles;
  • Develop ICT services to ensure the charity effectively utilises technology to support quality of service delivery and service user experience;
  • Manage and appraise key stakeholders and senior users, understanding requirements, reporting on progress and delivering impact;
  • Co-ordinate organisation wide efforts to ensure the integrity, accuracy, consistency and security of data in both digital and physical form;
  • Secure and maintain the organisation’s technical infrastructure through the specification, installation and operation of hardware, software, networks and telecommunications;
  • Enhance internal capabilities through the effective use of vendors, combining partnership working with a robust approach to contracts management.

You will have experience in a similar position including leading digital change and managing multi-faceted programmes. You will be creative and be able to think outside of the box, organised and full of ideas but happy to work collaboratively with others. A sense of humour and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
