Hospice staff take to the skies to raise vital funds

Chris and Wendy getting ready for their skydive

On 15th September, two of our very own Hope House staff faced their biggest fears and completed a sponsored skydive.

Chris from our hospitality team and Wendy from our care team bravely decided to take on this amazing challenge to raise funds for the children and families they support here at Hope House every day.

The bad weather caused lots of delays but despite this and their growing nerves, they never gave up and were determined to complete the jump. Finally, on the third attempt the clouds cleared, the plane was able to take off and they jumped from an astounding 10,000 feet!

Their incredible bravery has already raised a fantastic £1,000 with sponsorship still coming in. Thank you so much Chris and Wendy – you are amazing!
