Job Overview

Here at Hope House Children’s Hospices we are on an exciting journey to increase our annual contribution from our retail business by £300,000 to £1,000,000 a year by 2025, enabling us to reach every child and family who need us.  Reporting to the Area Manager, this role will see you using your commercial flair to maximise revenue and ensure a profit contribution is generated. You will take responsibility for the line management, motivation and performance of staff and volunteers.  You will be a firm but enabling leader who sparks enthusiasm and performance.

Responsible for meeting sales targets as well as controlling expenditure, you will also confidently engage with the local community to generate stock. Great sales floor displays are a must as is the preparation of donated stock to meet capacity targets for the store.  Computer literacy is essential to manage the EPOS tilling system.
