We have an exciting opportunity within our Estates Team, to join us as a Trainee Maintenance Assistant. This post is part of the Kickstart Scheme which will focus on developing your skills over the course of the six month placement. The main tasks of this post will be to work closely with the Maintenance Officer to assist with tasks within and outside of the buildings, such as minor repairs and maintenance as well as learning how to test equipment. 

The right candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic and energetic in order to fully be involved in the repairs and general maintenance of the entire hospice site.

Are you aged between 16 and 24 and a Universal Credit claimant, then you could join us in one of our roles which will give you valuable and meaningful experience.
