Brothers and sisters of children who receive respite care at Ty Gobaith had a splash-tastic day at Bala Lake, courtesy of Bala Adventure and Watersports. After a few weeks of uncertain weather, the sun was shining while they took part in canoeing and paddle boarding.

Bala Watersports have been supporting Hope House and Ty Gobaith for 8 years by donating a day of watersports including all of the equipment and an instructor.

Ceinwen Pritchard, Sibling Support Worker at Ty Gobaith said: “We cannot thank Mark, Sarah and all of the staff at Bala Watersports enough for their ongoing support. The children had a fantastic day and without the support of businesses like Bala Watersports, we wouldn’t be able to give the children such a fun-filled day out which they look forward to every year.”

The Loch Café who are based at Bala Lake generously provided lunch for everyone attending on the day and also ice creams which were enjoyed by all.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone at Bala Watersports and the Loch Café for supporting Hope House and Ty Gobaith and for ensuring everyone had a brilliant day on the water!
