Primary Schools

Our experience proves helping other children can be inspirational and motivational for your pupils.

An interactive assembly can be a great place to start, and our fundraisers are well practised at explaining to young people how special the children we care for are and the challenges that they and their families face.

If your school chooses to help raise money for our vital work we can provide all sorts of ideas from dress down/up days and to mini-fitness challenges. We can also provide all the fundraising materials you might need.

To book an assembly please contact your local Fundraising Offices:

Secondary Schools - Dragons' Lair Challenge

Our Dragons' Lair Challenge is the perfect fundraising initiative to motivate and develop your pupils.

We give small groups of students the opportunity to come up with a fundraising idea to grow a £10 investment into vital funds for Hope House Children's Hospices, and pitch their idea to a panel of local business dragons.

It's a great way to boost students' confidence, creativity and teamwork, enhance employability skills and gain 'real life' experience.

Your school will also benefit from linking to a much-loved and vital local charity, building stronger links with local businesses and good publicity in the local press and social media.

Our professional fundraisers will work with your school to provide an initial assembly to motivate students, the £10 investment for each group of students, materials and resources and awards for all students taking part.

* This initiative satisfies the Enterprise Challenge for the Welsh BACC Qualification
