What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a government scheme which allows charities to reclaim the basic rate of tax on donations made by taxpayers thereby increasing the size of the donation. 

Who can Gift Aid?

To qualify for Gift Aid, you must pay at least the same amount of Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in one tax year (6 April one year to 5 April in the next year) as we claim on your gift (currently 25p for each pound you donate).
