Tandem Skydive

See the amazing views over the Shropshire countryside on the way up before sliding to the edge of the plane door. Freefall for up to 30 seconds before the parachute opens at about 5,000 feet above the ground – and enjoy!

What support will I get?

By joining team Hope House & Ty Gobaith you will receive a fundraising pack to help you get started as well as support from us right up until the big day. We will deal with the administration of booking you in so you can concentrate on your fundraising.

If you join one of our selected team dates, we will also be there at the airfield to cheer you on from the ground and provide support if needed.

What you need to know:

• By choosing to jump for Hope House Children’s Hospices you are receiving a special charity rate which will only cost you £50. This is a non-refundable booking fee which is then paid forward to Tilstock Airfield to secure your place.

• All skydiving superheroes are to raise a minimum of £400 in sponsorship. £190 of this target must be raised by the date of your skydive in order for you to complete your jump. The remaining sponsorship must be paid within four weeks of you completing your jump.

• There are strict height, weight, age and medical restrictions for skydiving which you must check before booking. Check you can skydive by reading these basic requirements on Tilstock Airfield’s website here. They will also be included in your fundraising and information pack.

• When you book your place, we will ask you to declare your current height and weight fully clothed, and with shoes on which will be passed to Tilstock Airfield. Please check the requirements here.

• The maximum age for skydiving is 70 and the minimum age is 16. Anyone under 18 must have the written consent of a parent or guardian.

• You will be required to sign a medical declaration and may potentially need a sign-off from your doctor before skydiving. 

• Due to weather conditions, skydives are subject to last-minute cancellations and delays when the weather is not suitable or safe for jumping. Please be prepared to wait all day, even if you have an early check-in time. If your skydive is cancelled, it can be rescheduled to suit you.
