The Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon is back and you can take part by joining our team on Sunday 17th September.

It is a clockwise, one-lap race starting and finishing in the village of Llanwddyn, taking in the stunning scenery that surrounds Lake Vyrnwy.

This half-marathon is perfect for all runners, from those challenging themselves to their first half-marathon distance to those who are chasing a personal best.

What you need to know

  • Runners must be 17 years or older on race day to enter.
  • Registration is at a reduced cost of £20 but we ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 which will help ensure we can continue to be here for every child and family that needs us.
  • You will receive a bespoke Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith running T-shirt to wear with pride on the day, which you can get your name printed on for an extra cost.
  • All finishers will receive a bespoke medal and will receive water and a cereal bar at the finish line.
  • There is a generous three-hour cut-off time for this race. After this time the public roads will reopen. If you fall behind this pace, for your own safety you may be asked to withdraw from the race.

*Please note: Your registration fee is non-refundable and you are agreeing to raise £100 minimum sponsorship by signing up for this event.

You can contact email our fundraising team to find out about other sporting events we have taking place later in 2023.
