We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the North Wales Model Engineering Society of West Shore Beach, Llandudno for their continued support and generosity towards our hospices.

On Saturday 9th August, the Society held their now annual fundraising day at their beachfront site – and despite blustery weather, it was very well-attended by local residents and holidaymakers.

Visitors of all ages enjoyed rides on the miniature locomotives, with the steam and electric engines bringing smiles throughout the day.In exchange for donations, guests were treated not only to rides on the model trains but also to tempting selection of homemade cakes and hot drinks kindly provided by Society members and volunteers.

Thanks to their efforts, a fantastic £1,200 was raised and will go directly towards supporting local children and families living with a life-threatening condition.
