Our multi-sensory room has not seen any investment since the hospice first opened in 2005, despite huge advancements in multi-sensory technology.

Later this year we plan to extend and re-furbish this room to create a bigger, more flexible space that will enable meaningful, captivating and child-centered experiences. New multi-sensory equipment will be installed to encourage movement and provide visual, auditory and tactile experiences; specially designed switches and controls will give children and young people autonomy over the sensory environment.
