We are looking forward to finally cheering on runners at the two-year delayed inaugural Welshpool 10k in March.

Those wishing to join Team Hope House are being asked to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship to help ensure we can continue to provide vital respite care and support to local children and families.

In return, you will receive a bespoke technical T-shirt and a running sweepstake to help you hit your target.

The 10k, taking place on Sunday 27th March, is perfect for all runners from nervous first-timers to those more experienced and there is still plenty of time to squeeze in some training too! The route starts and finishes in the town centre of Welshpool and takes in the breathtaking views of Powis Castle.

Once completed all runners will receive their finisher’s medal, as well as a complimentary family pass to Powis Castle.

Bekki Fardoe, fundraiser, said: “We are hugely grateful to Alan from Adrenaline Sporting Events for choosing us as the official charity partner. We provide care and support to over 30 families throughout Powys, so those running for us will be giving back directly to those in their community.

“Without amazing events like this, we simply wouldn’t be able to reach our mission that no one should face the death of a child alone.”
