The Townhouse in Oswestry has raised more than £1,000 for us at its recent Family Fun Day and BBQ.

Many families attended the event with children enjoying lots of activities while parents enjoyed listening to live music.

“We are so grateful to everyone that came along to the Family Fun Day and BBQ,” said owner Ollie Jackson. "The weather was on our side and everyone had lots of fun."

Natalie Jones, event manager, said: “We are thrilled to have raised over £1,000 to help ensure local seriously ill children and families receive the support they need.

“The majority of this amount was raised from our raffle and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone that donated such wonderful prizes making the raffle such a success."
