Our superstar Cassi was on hand to launch a fundraising event for the hospices this week – and was even treated to a ride on a very special bus.

Cassi from Dwyran, Anglesey, who is cared for at Tŷ Gobaith, visited the Anglesey Vintage Equipment Society as they gear-up for their open day on Saturday 13th August.

She was treated to a ride in a 1953 Leyland Tiger Cub bus by society secretary Lloyd Pritchard.

Lloyd said: “The bus was actually built at the Saunders Row factory in Beaumaris on the island before it closed and we have had it lovingly restored.

“We are proud to be supporting such a wonderful charity as Hope House Tŷ Gobaith and are thrilled to be able to again show some of our treasures to the public.”

The Anglesey Vintage Equipment Society open day runs from 10am – 5pm at the Dolwen Farm Buildings, Star, LL60 6AY. Ample parking on site. Free entry but donations encouraged.
