The White Horse gastro pub in Churton, Cheshire has once again raised a brilliant amount of money for a local children and their families.

Cyclists and revellers at the popular bar took part in two events during June – an epic sponsored cycle ride and the Churton Fest community day full of live music BBQ and fun for the kids.

Setting of on June 12th, the 170-mile sponsored cycle took a team of 15 regulars from the pub all the way down to Cardiff.

Following up the ride and as an extra fundraiser, the White Horse hosted its annual Churton Fest where the beer garden is thrown open to the community to enjoy a family day in the sun with live music, face painting, games like hook-a-duck, raffles, delicious BBQ and more.

Both the events were a great success and kind donors raised a combined £5,224 for the hospice.

Area fundraiser for Hope House, Nicky Eyes said: “The White Horse regulars and staff are just brilliant.

“Taking on physical challenges but also putting on community events isn’t easy and shows how selfless they are.

“As a charity we’re so grateful. Their fabulous total will benefit so many local children and families living with a life -threatening condition.
