Net World Sports team take on 10K

A team of runners from Net World Sports in Wrexham are pulling on their trainers and taking on the Chester 10K to raise money.

The 16 runners, which includes novices and more experienced runners, all get together at lunchtimes and after work to run and have now set themselves the challenge to taking on the 10K together on Sunday 10th March. 

Jessica​​​​ Adie, Senior Platform Executive and organiser of the running group said: “We’re loving getting out at lunchtimes for our 10K training. This is a great way for us to socialise, set ourselves new challenges and get fit whilst supporting a great cause. Training is going well and we’re all on track to set some new PBs!”

Amazing support

Net World Sports, which is based on Wrexham Industrial Estate, has been supporting the charity since 2014 and has raised more than £32,000 to support seriously ill local children. 

Cat Dowdeswell, Fundraiser at Hope House Children’s Hospices, said: “We are so grateful to Net World Sports for all its incredible support over the years. Without amazing local businesses like this, we would not be here for the local children and families that really need our support.
