What a FAB-U-LOUS evening we were all treated to last Friday 22nd November!

After a year in the planning the first ever Strictly Shropshire took place at The Lion Quays Hotel & Spa.

After just 8 lessons 12 novice dancers took to the dance floor each performing a different style of dance.  The dancers were judged by a panel of expert judges including our very own Director of Fundraising Simi Epstein, Clive Knowles owner of The British Ironwork Centre, Colin Jenno Director of The Lion Quays and Chloe Elizabeth of Chloe Elizabeth Dance Company and were voted for by the public – our 360 guests.

We are thrilled to announce that Derek and Tracey Willis (the only novice couple who entered) were crowned the first ever Strictly Shropshire Grand Champions and to date over £9,700 has been raised for Hope House and we expect this amount to top £10,000 over the next couple of weeks - A-MAZ-ING!!

Our heartfelt thanks go to Ross Millar from Step by Step Dance Instruction for choosing to support Hope House with this incredible event, Ross you did a phenomenal job!

Until next year…….keeeeeeeeep dancing!!
