Our wonderful supporters from the Friends of Prestfelde School have raised £9,886 to support seriously ill local children this summer.

The group held a garden party at the school where parents and friends were invited along to enjoy good food, music and fun. As part of the event a charity auction was held with prizes donated by local businesses and families associated with the school.

Playing the role of auctioneer at the party, parent Julian Amos alongside Prestfelde’s Head Nick Robinson, presented the cheque to our fundraiser, Bekki Fardoe.

Thanking all of the Friends of Prestfelde School team for their hard work in making the event a phenomenal success, Nick said: “We are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful group of people within the school who give up their time to organise and run worthwhile events like these. It was a fabulous evening that everyone enjoyed immensely.”

Our fundraiser Bekki, said: “We are extremely grateful to everyone from Prestfelde School for choosing to support Hope House with their recent garden party, and for raising almost £10,000 for the children and families that we care for. We are only able to continue providing this vital care for local children because of the amazing support we receive from our community.”
