Our shop on Denbigh’s historic High Street needs your help.

The bright and colourful store is seeking local people who have some time to spare to join the team of volunteers there.

Elin Batty from Denbigh gives two half days a week in the shop as a volunteer

Learn new skills

Area Manager, Lucy McMellon said: “We’d love to hear from anyone who would like to meet people, learn new skills or would like to update their CV.

“It’s a great way to use current skills or learn new ones, we offer training on all aspects in the store such as merchandising, stock rotation and sorting, customer service, window dressing and more.

“Anybody over 16 years of age can volunteer with us and we have opportunities for all, whether you’re a student, a parent or retired. We have morning and afternoon shifts available.

“Pop in and see us to find out more.”

Elin enjoys serving customers on the till and says it's a really great team in the shop

A happy place

The shop sells a mixture of pre-loved fashion, jewellery and homewares, it also serves as a point of contact for information about the work the hospices do.

Elin Batty from Denbigh has been giving two mornings a week at the shop for over 18 months and enjoys serving customers on the till.

Elin said: “It’s a great community place that I love coming to.

“We’re a good team of loyal volunteers and are all here for each other.”
